Abstract

The role of learning media is very important in the learning process. Learning tends to be boring if the teacher only uses the package book. The purpose of this research is motivated by the lack of student learning outcomes in Civics learning subjects, so that researchers develop media to improve learning outcomes in Civics subjects on the symbols and understanding of Pancasila in class 2 MI Bustanul Ulum Ngelele Jombang. The goal is that students become enthusiastic about carrying out learning. Researchers used R&D research as many as 2 trials, namely trial 1 and trial 2. The development point in this study covers three aspects which include development in the form of Pancasila symbols, development in monopili games and development in audio additions. The subjects of this research were grade 2 students totaling 37 students. Researchers developed Papantar media for students so that students could understand learning and also play in learning. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation, tests and questionnaires. At the trial 1 stage, the average results of the pre test and post test were 59.7 and 94.0 respectively, while in trial 2 they were 91.2 and 97.2. Based on trial 1 and trial 2, it can be concluded that Papantar media is effective for improving student learning outcomes in the material of symbols and understanding of Pancasila class 2 MI
